Our program is multidisciplinary, focusing on discussing the efficient allocation of resources, planning of the public financial system, and economic effects of fiscal policies. We have a team of both highly experienced and qualified faculty members and continue to recruit outstanding teachers and researchers to reinforce our school staff. To support students in the development of their professional knowledge in areas of public finance and to enhance their independent analytical ability, the department offers a wide range of flexible curricula. The undergraduate program contains two specialized fields: Public Finance and Financial Management and Tax Policy in Theory and Practice. For freshmen and sophomore students, we focus on offering solid training in public finance, economics, accounting, and quantitative methods. In the third and fourth years of students’ undergraduate study, they are trained to learn taxation, public financial management, public choice, cost benefit analysis, and social security programs in greater depth. As for the graduate program, students are expected to analyze important policy issues related to public expenditures and taxation. Our rigorous training and rather flexible curriculum, along with the efforts of highly selective and dedicated faculty members, help students develop their own independent research ability. We believe our students can obtain the education they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.
To provide our students with the highest level of undergraduate and graduate instruction and training, we strive to improve our physical facilities and offer more options and opportunities to support their studies.
We are proud of our placement record, as many of our students have performed very well after graduation.
